A web designer in Xlab is typically undertaking the full website creation cycle, starting from graphic design, towards building website markup, till website publishing and cross-browser testing.

Job requirements

• Creatively deliver top-notch graphic design for websites / web applications
• Collaborate with the result of the design team to define the information architecture, advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability
• Manage the overall visual design for the application, including all branding and navigational elements
• Work closely with back-end developers to find ways to push the limits of existing Web technology in service of creating the best possible user experience
• [ Plus] Elegantly implement interface designs in standards-compliant dynamic XHTML and CSS for websites
• [Plus] Implement functionality in JavaScript and jQuery plugins
• [Big Plus] Working experience with open source CMSs ( WordPress, Joomla )
